PHOTO UPLOAD MOD by BAC Web Design

This mod (modification) works on the Ecommerce Templates.com ASP "Store" and "Plus" templates. The mod requires:

  • ASP Upload from Persists Software (check with you hosting company)
  • Adding three files to your store (pages to run the upload mod)
  • Adding one line of code to an existing page in your template
  • Tweaking four lines of code in an existing page in your template.

Installation of the mod is very easy. However we do offer installation service if you prefer.
HOW DOES IT WORK:  
STEP 1: After installing the MOD, the words "Image" and "Large Image" on your PRODUCT ADMIN page will become hyperlinks.
STEP 2: When you click the link, a new window pops up. This window will allow you to browse your hard drive to find your file.
STEP 3: Choose your file and click OK.
STEP 4: Your image will then be listed in the upload window. Click "submit."
STEP 5: You get confirmation that your file was uploaded to the PRODIMAGES folder of your web site. Click the "Click to Finish" button and...
the path to your product's image is added to the IMAGE field. Simply repeat the process for your large image.
